Lady Gaga takes over Barney's

LADY GAGA is offering her take on Christmas with a new pop-up store opening at Barney's, her own version of Santa's Workshop, set to be filled with limited edition gifts created by the star and Mugler creative director Nicola Formichetti.

"Holiday is about joy, sharing and inclusiveness, and to me, Gaga really represents all of that," said Barneys' chief executive officer Mark Lee. "Her platform is so much about positivity, individuality and universality in a very today way."

Gaga's Workshop, which will take up Barney’s fifth floor, will feature books and CD's curated by Gaga - as well as toys, accessories make-up (namely lipsticks in Gaga-worthy bright colours), sweets and candles.

"There are a lot of things for fans of all ages, for kids and kids at heart," Lee told WWD. "I think our existing and new customers will find fun things to share and give as gifts in a lighthearted and not so serious way."

Gaga's Workshop will be open from mid-November until January 2.
